Is There An Error In The Bible?

Is There An Error In The Bible?

According to Pastor Andrew, the answer is YES.

And in his short video, he provides very strong
evidence to support this controversial
(but rapidly growing) theory.

At first, we were quite skeptical, and I even
asked the pastor point blank…

“Are you saying that God made a mistake?”

The pastor was quick to respond, and said –

“God doesn’t make mistakes.
But 1800 years ago, we believe a
biblical translator DID.”

The pastor then went on to explain his theory…

“It is our belief that ONE, single, mistranslated word in the bible –
which occurred about 200 years after the death of Jesus –
is responsible for an incredible amount of needless suffering.”

I felt that the pastor truly believed what he was claiming…

So I decided to watch his video.

And frankly, it was as shocking to me as it was eye-opening.

But you be the judge for yourself.

  3. I followed the link to the Exodus Effect. I have seen it before; I even investigated it further. Investigation included actually reading all of Exodus 30. What God says after giving the formula for the mixture makes me think believers should question perhaps, not the possibility that a word was mistranslated, but, whether they should use that formula for supposed personal health benefits. It appears to me that God put some restrictions on its use.

  4. I could not stop laughing, The “Exodus Effect” is so much like the “Prayer of Jabez” craze that swept through evangelical circles a few years back. Taking a portion of scripture and making a doctrine around it is wholly unbiblical. It infers that the oil (or prayer) has some supernatural power, to accomplish something, in this case healing. Biblically God alone has the power and we should petition to God Alone, without fanfare, gimmicks or other unbiblical accouterments. The only place that we are encouraged to use oil to anoint the sick is in James 5:14-15 and that duty is for Elders alone.

  5. There are no errors in the Bible as it is not a factual historical account, and not meant to be taken literally. It is story, analogy and metaphor, partly truth partly fiction, a way of figuring things out, and inspiring us to think. While we get caught up on the idea of “perfect” or “literal” or “error” we blinker ourselves and ultimately miss the point of this beautiful collection of BC writings.

  6. The Bible has a few functions. You have an antiquity system of academic, most of it referring to law enforcement punishments (however, linguistics have advanced, neurological cultured shape having merged, hence the grammar is different). You also have the concept of ‘Hell’, a killing within a single marker of unit (an integer representing 1) and a century’s placement (100 counts of the same integer), that being your life as a purchased food item with one unit, the integer (you) and the body of standard command (a profession, in Roman logic, from Latin, the base of the Romance languages). This may not seem like Hell (your calculated value as your labor, within a particular market, hence currency exchange), however you have to keep in mind that the Bible, is a sole possession of collected history (Jewish warfare), hence you are separate from your value as a unit of food representing Romance grammar (the command of a staging action, a unit of a square or rectangle, in two-dimensional volume). This means, you are separate from your demise, as an owner of the Bible, and your demise represents ‘God’, a food item purchased per unit of cropland to represent you. Now, this is rather obtuse. Let me simplify it. Imagine being slain, within your act itself, as portrayed in literal shape, however believing you are the form of the individual doing grievous harm. Your own life upon cropland, separate from the person who sold you your Bible (the kingdom). We also have Testaments (collected data in four linguistics, per each Testament), Books (a singular expression of quantity, neurological errors occurring if more than one Book per Testament is read), the Chapters (the symbols of each of Book, the opening being the architecutural structure in three dimensions, the end of the Chapter being the artistic symbol used), the Verses (the beginning of each Book, first Chapter, identifying the potential combinations of neurological damage when combined within a Testament per book, and the ending set of each Chapter, the artistic symbol, being the interpretation of which disorder has been intoned, within subject matter of Testament linguistic – Ancient Hebrew, Ancient Greek, Ancient Aramaic, Ancient Mandarin Chinese). From this, we have Law, the military code of Rome, being based on cropland and divided currency and linguistic set, as opposed to the prior code of Law, that being Orators (the representative of a politician, governor, or general).

  7. Genesis Chapter: 1 to Chapter 2:Verses 3. Genesis 2: Verses 4 These are the generation. Clear contradiction the creation took 7 days. Also, all the books were burned in 500 by Constantopole. Meeting of with the Greek and Latin Bishop.

    1. In my opinion the creation story happens in every married man’s life. First he is lonely then he comes to realization that he can live with a woman (wakes up from slumber). When the man is married he lets the woman out of his sight and envious people get to her and feed her with evil possibilities, she falls and does something that is not good for love that makes her prosper for a while, she shows the husband the trick and he too does it and they prosper for a while then they realize their ‘success’ is not sustainable and eventually their marriage is torn apart. Given the way things repeat analogously throughout history it might have actually happened the way it is narrated in the book, now it is happening spiritually over and over and we never realize enough to stop the loop of evil.

  8. The Bible, as a book, has not one tittle of an error. What looks like an error is actually the problem of the translation.

Did God command marijuana to spring up as one of the family of plants? Then, it’s God’s doing. It’s good for human use. God’s divine comment on day five of re-creationism was, “good!”
But, for something open to abuse, there’ll always be restrictions.
