How To Let God Guide You

Our journeys are full of surprises, both good and bad.

We can’t ever be certain about what the future holds.

Sometimes we expect good things and bad things to happen.

Sometimes we anticipate hardship, and find that things work out more favorably than we thought.

Most people hate this.

They want to feel in control.

As Christians, however, we understand that things are not happening randomly.

We know that everything is part of God’s plan.

Proverbs 16:33 says, “The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.”

This verse reminds us that we should accept the events in our journeys without judgment.

This doesn’t mean that we can’t have opinions or preferences.

God gave us the ability to think for a reason.

But we should trust that God knows what He’s doing, even if we don’t always understand it.

When we experience blessings, we should recognize them as blessings from God and thank Him for His goodness.

And when we face challenges or difficulties, we should trust that God is with us and doing everything for our good.

Proverbs 19:2 says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Our plans and desires may not always align with God’s will, but we can trust that His purpose will ultimately prevail.

Of course, we can still control a lot of things.

We can remain kind and forgiving to our loved ones.

We can support the less fortunate.

We can have a lot of impact on our journeys and the people around us.

But we shouldn’t forget that ultimately we should live according to God’s teachings.

So let’s commit to accepting everything without judgment, knowing that God is at work in every situation.

Whether we’re facing significant problems or small ones, we can trust that He will guide us if we seek His wisdom and follow His lead.

Let’s trust in His divine providence.

No matter what you may have seen on social media…a lot of people are lonely nowadays.

Numerous studies have shown that loneliness is on the rise – even if you can’t tell at first glance.

The rise of technology and decline of in-person social interaction has pushed people toward isolation.

And after being stuck in their houses for two years, a lot of people have stayed shut inside their shells.

The real issue, however, is that they are too ashamed to admit it.

As a Christian, I want to remind you that you are not alone in this struggle.

And that there are ways to care for yourself and manage feelings of loneliness, through the guidance and love of God.

One of the most important things we can do to manage feelings of loneliness is to practice self-compassion.

The reason this is so crucial is that a lot of people are too hard on themselves.

They take on too many responsibilities and feel guilty when they can’t complete everything.

So they blame themselves even for things beyond their control.

We have to remember, however, that God wants us to love ourselves.

When practicing self-compassion, you should be treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would show your loved ones.

Once you do that, you are in a better position to move to the next step…

Improving your relationships.

It’s clear that we are social creatures.

And that we need to regularly interact with friends and family.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.“

There is no replacement for genuine interaction with other people.

So make sure you strive to improve the connection with the people closest to you – or even create different connections.

Another thing we have to remember is that God is always with us, especially in times of loneliness.

He is a loving companion that can help us make it through everything.

It’s important to cultivate a relationship with Him through prayer, reading the Bible, and meditating on His word.

God will help us as long as we let Him.

So remember, it is okay to be feeling lonely. Everyone does at some point.

The important thing is to not be ashamed of it and live as God would want you to.

A Necessary Reminder To Christians

I look around lately, and I am disappointed.

Disappointed in how the media is always talking about doom and gloom…

Disappointed in how pessimistic everyone has become…

And disappointed in how people have forgotten that their lives are a gift from God.

As Christians, we have to remind everyone (and ourselves) that no matter how bad things might seem, we always have things to be grateful for.

We are blessed with the love and grace of God, and that alone is something to keep us going.

We have a purpose and a plan, and we can trust that God is guiding us on our journey.

As the Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end..”

We also have the gift of salvation, which will forever give us hope.

As the Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

We have the ability to forgive and be forgiven.

We have food to eat, a roof over our heads, and the love and support of our family and friends.

It’s easy to take these things for granted, but when we pause to reflect on them, we realize how truly blessed we are.

It’s important to remember that we are not alone in our struggles. God is always with us and He is in control.

He has a plan for our lives and we can trust that He will see us through any hardship.

So, let’s take a moment to give thanks for the blessings in our lives.

Say it with me:

“Thank you, Lord, for everything you have given me.”

Let’s be grateful for the small things, as well as the big things.

And let’s be a light in this world, proving good morale and support in these trying times.

Say This Prayer To Acquire Abundance (Takes 30 Seconds)

Matthew 7:7 says “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

The Lord helps those who ask for help.

When we are faced with difficulties, we should always seek guidance.

God knows what’s best for us.

But it’s up to us to reach out to Him and receive His gracious help.

If you want to acquire wealth and prosperity, then before you do anything else, you should first ask for it.

Let us say this prayer together:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You in humble gratitude for the blessings and provisions You have given me. I acknowledge that everything I have comes from You, and I am deeply thankful for Your love and generosity.

I ask, Lord, that You guide me in making wise decisions, and help me to be a faithful steward of the resources You have entrusted to me.

Teach me to prioritize Your Kingdom and to use my wealth for Your glory. Let me be a channel of Your blessings, sharing Your love and goodness with those around me.

I claim Your promises of abundance and prosperity, trusting that You will provide for my needs according to Your riches in glory. Help me to walk in faith and obedience as I seek to align my actions with Your plans and purposes.

Amen.”

You might be wondering, why does this prayer work?

There is nothing special about it

Anyone could have thought of it.

But that’s the point!

It’s not what you say.

It’s how you feel when you say it.

The key lies in the goodness in our hearts.

When we pray with sincerity, faith, and gratitude, we make ourselves receptive to the blessings He has in store for us.

This prayer works as a tool to remind us that God is our provider and that we should be faithful stewards of His resources.

God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is flawless.

Sometimes, the blessings may not come in the way we expect or when we expect them, but God always knows what’s best for us.

We must always remain grateful for the blessings He bestows upon us.

Cultivate a heart of thankfulness for everything that God has given you.

And you’ll find that your faith and trust in Him will grow, paving the way for the miraculous to take place.

May your prayers lead to abundant blessings.

Why Lent Is The Healthiest Season (In More Ways Than One)

During this Lent season, many of us will be engaging in the practice of fasting.

A centuries-old tradition that has numerous benefits.

I want to remind you why fasting can be such an excellent practice for our health and well-being.

If you are unsure about whether you should participate in it or not, this will hopefully assist you in making a decision.

First and foremost, fasting is scientifically proven to have a number of health benefits.

When we abstain from eating, we go into a state of ketosis, in which our system burns fat for energy instead of glucose.

This reduces inflammation and improves heart health.

It also leads to a more controlled weight, as well as improved glucose levels.

Fasting has even been shown to improve cognitive function and increase longevity.

But the benefits go beyond the physical.

Fasting is a spiritual practice that has been used by Christians for centuries as a way to draw closer to God.

When we are fasting, we are intentionally setting aside pleasure and other distractions to focus on prayer.

This can deepen our relationship with God and hear His voice more clearly.

Scripture has many examples of fasting being used as a way to seek God’s guidance and intervention.

One notable example is the story of Esther, who had her fellow Jews participate in fasting and praying for three days.

Through their fasting and prayer, Esther and the Jews were able to experience God’s miraculous deliverance.

Fasting also develops discipline.

We teach our minds to control our impulses.

And in doing so, we can even grow in humility and become more compassionate and loving toward others.

Everyone should at least consider incorporating fasting into their spiritual practice this Lenten season.

There are many different ways to do that, from abstaining from food altogether to giving up certain foods or activities for a period of time.

Whatever you choose, I pray that this practice will bring you closer to God.

Will you be participating in fasting this season? Just comment and let me know!

Why Your Local Church Always Boosts Your Mood

There is nothing more captivating than the beautiful art in the church.

The intricate details, colors, and the emotions that are portrayed in the images are breathtaking.

But they are not just nice to look at.

Art has a profound impact on our spirits.

And scientists are currently catching up to that as well.

This is what they just found out.

Their study revealed that art has many health benefits.

While they focused on digital art viewing, the power of art in our churches is undoubtedly no less impactful.

When we gaze upon the sacred paintings, sculptures, and stained glass windows in our churches, we are reminded of the divine stories they represent.

These sacred works of art are a visual testament to God’s love and grace.

And they invite us into a deeper, more personal relationship with Him.

For many, church art serves as a source of comfort and inspiration.

It provides solace during challenging times and encourages us to remain steadfast in our faith.

It can also help us feel more connected to our Christian brothers, as we share in the appreciation of these creative expressions of our shared beliefs.

The study also found that individuals with high levels of aesthetic responsiveness experienced more pleasurable and meaningful art experiences.

This means that by cultivating our sensitivity to the beauty in our churches, we can harness the full potential of art to uplift our spirits.

And we can enhance our mental health.

So the next time you find yourself in the quiet sanctuary of your local church, take a moment to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you.

Let the sacred art speak to your soul, allowing it to inspire, comfort, and transform you.

Remember, art serves many purposes.

It is an incredible way to bring us closer to God, strengthen our faith, and improve our overall well-being.

Why God Wants You To Be Kind (Even When You Don’t Feel Like It)

Have you ever been hurt?

Either from a harsh word or a dismissive gesture?

It’s a hurt everyone has experienced

And it’s a hurt that everyone has inflicted at some point or another.

But as followers of Christ, we are tasked to be different.

We are tasked with kindness.

Not just to friends and family, but the more difficult type of kindness

The one that extends to strangers.

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

This verse isn’t a suggestion.

It’s a divine command.

God showed us the ultimate kindness by sending His son to die for our sins.

We must aim to follow His example.

Often, we just see a fraction of the struggles others are facing.

The grocery store clerk who smiles as she rings up your items may be battling a chronic illness.

The neighbor who always keeps to himself might be shouldering the weight of deep loneliness.

The colleague who seems irritable could be dealing with a difficult family situation.

These are the unseen battles that every person is going through.

And a simple kind gesture, a warm smile, a genuine compliment, a helping hand, can make a huge difference.

Kindness is a reflection of God’s love.

And it’s not always easy.

This is why it is so much more important that we show it.

We are called to respond with kindness even when it’s tough, even when it’s inconvenient, and even when we don’t feel like it.

Because kindness has the power to break down barriers, mend relationships, and bring healing to hurting hearts.

And it’s especially important to be kind even to those who wrong us.

This is when our faith is tested

When being like Christ is difficult.

So, let’s strive to remain kind, always.

And may God guide us as we strive to reflect His kindness in our daily experiences.

Why Does God Allow Bad Things To Happen? (2024 Updated)

One of the most pressing questions that we Christians must grapple with is the issue of pain and hardship.

If God is good, then why does He allow such things to happen?

This is a question that has been asked by believers and non-believers alike for millennia.

And it is one that continues to trouble us.

First and foremost, it is important to acknowledge that pain and hardship are real and difficult experiences that many of us have to go through.

Whether it is physical pain, emotional pain, or the pain of loss, these experiences can be incredibly difficult to bear.

It is natural to ask why we must endure such trials, especially when we believe in a loving and compassionate God.

What everyone must understand, however, is that God did not create a world full of pain and hardship.

In the beginning, everything was good.

But sin entered the world through the disobedience of Adam and Eve.

This disobedience caused a separation between humanity and God, which resulted in the pain, hardship, and brokenness that we see in the world.

However, just because sin is the cause of pain and hardship does not mean that God lacks the power to intervene.

God has done everything possible to restore our relationship with Him and to redeem the world from the effects of sin.

This is why He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to undergo the crucifixion for our sins.

Through Jesus, we have the hope of living eternally and the assurance that one day pain and hardship will be eradicated.

In the meantime, we must remember that God is with us in our hardships and that He can use even our most difficult experiences for good.

As Isaiah 55:9 says, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

We must stay strong.

Are You Too Nice of a Christian?

As Christians, we are called to love and serve others.

As it is written in the Bible: “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.” (Colossians 3:12)

We are taught to be kind, compassionate, and understanding.

However, there is a fine line between being kind and being too nice.

Being too nice can actually be harmful to both ourselves and the people around us.

When we are too nice, we often put the needs and wants of others before our own.

And this can lead to feelings of resentment and burnout…even if we don’t realize it right away.

Additionally, when we are too nice, we can often run away from difficult conversations and situations.

We may not confront someone about their behavior or even stand up for ourselves.

This is how unresolved issues are made.

That’s why we should always be direct and honest.

It doesn’t mean that we should be rude or attacking.

We can still be kind and compassionate.

But if you are too nice, how can you even begin to do that?

Well, this is the reason I’m writing this Christian Blog article.

I’ve gathered several ideas you can follow to continue living according to God’s will without putting other people’s needs before your own:

  1. Set boundaries.

It’s important to understand that you have the right to say no and to have your own needs and wants.

  1. Communicate effectively.

When someone is crossing your boundaries or you are feeling taken advantage of, it’s important to speak up and communicate your feelings.

  1. Take care of yourself.

Make sure you are taking care of your own physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

We are responsible for our health. And we should take care of ourselves just like we take care of our loved ones.

  1. Stand up for yourself and others.

Jesus stood up for the marginalized and oppressed, as it is written in Luke 4:18:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

We can do the same by speaking up and stepping forward when we see injustice.

As Christians, we can sometimes forget about our own needs and wants.

But we should be compassionate towards ourselves, just as we do with others.

So don’t fall for the “nice trap”, and always remember these 4 tips.

How Many Calories Do You Need To Survive?

Did you know that the average person needs just about 1200-1500 calories to survive?

It’s true. Researchers have found that we don’t need as much food as most people think to keep ticking over.

But let’s not become too excited, folks.

That’s just for pure survival

For your basic physiological functions like breathing, heart beating, and maintaining temperature.

This is essentially what you need to stay alive.

If you are a prepper, then you know that surviving is not the same as thriving.

When you’re trying to make it through a tough situation.

Whether it’s a natural emergency or some other type of situation

You’re not just going to be lying around.

You’ll be active.

You’ll be under stress.

You’ll be using your body and mind in ways that demand much more than those 1200-1500 calories.

So how much do you actually need?

To give you a ballpark figure, an average moderately active man needs around 2,500 calories a day.

And an average moderately active woman needs around 2,000 calories a day to maintain their weight and health.

When you’re dealing with a survival situation, it’s essential to have high energy, nutrient dense foods to keep you fueled.

Things like nuts and seeds, dried fruits, canned goods, protein bars, and MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) can provide a substantial amount of calories in a small, portable package.

Remember, folks, planning is key.

Knowing how many calories you and your family will need in an emergency and preparing your food stores in advance can make a world of difference when the chips are down.

So the next time you’re out shopping, instead of grabbing that pack of ramen noodles, why not invest in some nutrient-rich, high-calorie foods that will really give you the energy you need when SHTF?

Survival is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. And for this long haul, you need to fuel yourself properly.

So let’s keep our survival instincts sharp and our health well-nourished.

How To Protect The People You Love As A Christian (Updated 2024)

When people have a lot of stress, it can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Like the weight of the world is resting on their shoulders.

I’ve been there…

You’ve probably been there…

And as a Christian, I know that most people have experienced a terrible event in their lives that almost pulled them down to depression.

I constantly hear about it in my church.

There is, however, a simple thing we can do to protect these people from becoming depressed.

And by doing so, we protect ourselves as well.

If we support one another and lift each other up, then nothing can hurt us.

As believers in Christ, we are called to be a light in the darkness.

To help others and show them the love and grace of our Lord.

As it says in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world.”

Scientists from Michigan University researched adults who were prone to depression, such as people who had lost their spouses.

And they discovered that simply reaching out to them in times of need can significantly protect them from becoming depressed.

This is an incredible reminder of the power of love and compassion.

It shows how much of an impact we can have on each other by simply being there for them.

As it is wonderfully explained in Galatians 6:2, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

This sums everything up perfectly.

As we navigate our struggles, let us remember to look to those around us who may need our help.

Whether offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement…

Let us do what we can to lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Remember, as the body of Christ, everyone is connected.

When one part of the body suffers, everyone suffers.

When one part celebrates, everyone celebrates.

So let us be there for one another, and show the love of Christ to those around us.

If you don’t know what to say to someone you haven’t spoken to in a very long time,

Are You Giving For The Right Reasons?

I often see celebrities giving to charity on TV.

They give small amounts of wealth and make sure everyone sees it.

And while giving is a good thing to do, something just doesn’t sit right with me.

When they brag about it so much, it becomes more about the giver than the recipient.

However, as Christians, our motivation for giving shouldn’t be for fame or gratification.

It should be rooted in the belief that it is the right thing to do.

The Bible is clear on the importance of humility in giving.

In Philippians 2, Paul urges Christians to “do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”

This passage reminds us that when we give to the less fortunate, we should do so humbly, putting the needs of others before our own.

It is important to remember that when we give to the less fortunate, we are also lending to the Lord.

And in doing so, we will be rewarded for our kindness and humility.

Proverbs 19:17 states, “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done.”

It is easy to become caught up in the idea of giving for personal gain or recognition, but that is not the true spirit of giving.

Giving should be done with a pure heart and a humble attitude.

As Christians, we are called to be good stewards of the resources and blessings that God has given us.

Part of being a good steward is using our resources to help those in need.

It is not about how much we give, but rather the attitude with which we give.

So let us give with humility, knowing that we are not just giving to the less fortunate, but living according to God’s Will.

Let us be reminded that true giving is not about us.

And let us give with a humble heart, knowing that we are blessed to be a blessing to others.

How to Whip Up Delicious Meals From Foraged Foods

My fellow Christians, if you’ve been reading my Christian blog for a while, then you know that I’m not simply trying to barely endure difficult situations.

I’m honestly looking for ways to live conveniently, and even thrive when everything around us seems to fall apart.

When people usually talk about foraged foods, they ask questions like “Can I eat that?” or “How many calories does this have?”

But have you ever considered that making gourmet, delicious meals out of foraged ingredients is possible?

That’s right, folks. Gourmet meals in an emergency situation.

I know, it seems far fetched when our minds are usually focused on the bare essentials.

But the thing is, it doesn’t always have to be about getting by on the bare minimum.

Nature is a veritable pantry, overflowing with a variety of edible plants, roots, and berries.

Sure, it requires a keen eye and knowledge of what you can safely consume.

But once you’ve got a handle on it, then turning foraged foods into meals that others would lust on even in regular times is easier than it sounds.

Let’s talk basics first.

Learning to identify edible plants is essential.

Take the time to familiarize yourself with local flora and fauna.

Next, experiment. You might find things you don’t expect.

For example, did you know you can make a pretty damn good faux potato salad with Jerusalem artichokes?

Or a stew thickened with acorn flour?

You see, enjoying foraged foods is not that complicated, as long as you are willing to try different things.

But there’s a catch.

For this to be possible, there is something you need to learn how to do.

And that’s cooking without your familiar kitchen gadgets. You might not always have them.

That’s where primitive cooking methods can come in handy.

Folks, finding ways to enjoy ourselves when things go south is another aspect of prepping.

Let’s go beyond merely living. Let’s thrive and dine like kings in the wilderness.

How To Invite God’s Beauty Into Your Household

God created a beautiful world for us to live in.

The intricate detail of a leaf, the grandeur of a sunset, the majestic mountains that touch the skies.

Each element of His creation is a testament to His glory and love.

And yet, something blocks us from truly experiencing His magnificent creations.

Our houses.

That’s right. We spend most of our time indoors.

If our living spaces don’t mirror God’s beauty and harmony He infused into nature, then we might feel disconnected from Him.

Our households are more than just brick and mortar. They’re our sanctuaries, where we rest, rejuvenate, and draw closer to our Heavenly Father.

As such, the condition of our houses can significantly influence our well-being.

Dozens, if not hundreds of studies have been published around this very subject.

And everyone has arrived at the same conclusion. A peaceful, well-kept house can promote tranquility, focus, and overall mental health.

So how can we try to invite God’s beauty into our households and enhance our living spaces?

Well, there are more ways than most people think.

Embrace minimalism

Much like the calming simplicity of a serene beach, a house without clutter reduces stress and promotes peace. Keep your space tidy and throw away or donate unnecessary items.

Celebrate natural light

Sunlight pouring through a window is a divine blessing from above. It can lift our mood, improve our sleep, and enhance productivity. Keep windows clean and unobstructed to allow as much natural light as possible.

Grow indoor plants

Just as a tree glorifies God with its growth, so can the plants in our households. They add a splash of God’s natural beauty into our space. Plus, they improve air quality.

Add personal touches

Create a house that reflects who you are and your love for the Lord. This could be family photos, cherished mementos, or religious symbols.

With our houses reflecting God’s natural beauty, let us rejoice in His creation, both outside and within our personal abodes.

May God bless our efforts to make our households an extension of His grandeur and beauty.

This Wifi Mistake Can Put Your Family At Risk

I just thought of something that could be essential for our readiness when SHTF.

Everyone has wifi in their houses, right?

It is something we usually take for granted. Sometimes we even ask for it when we enter a public place.

But every time a storm or an earthquake happens in the US, what does always happen?

The power grid goes down. Cell towers collapse, and no one can log in to the web.

But if you are a prepper, you are probably prepared for this.

You have your own generator. And your own Wifi. You’re sitting pretty, right?

Well, not exactly.

A working Wi-Fi signal in a digitally dead area is like lighting a beacon in the dark.

It signals to anyone with a device searching for a network that there’s someone nearby with resources.

Resources that some people will be willing to do whatever it takes to take from you.

Even by force.

So what can we do about this? Should we throw our routers out the window during power outages?

This is what I have been looking into for the past couple of days.

Apparently, you can reduce the range of your wifi router by adjusting the power settings.

Most Wi-Fi routers have settings to control the transmit power.

By reducing the power output, you can also reduce the range of your Wi-Fi signal.

The specific steps for adjusting power settings vary depending on the router model, so consult your router’s documentation or interface for guidance.

But there is also another way that doesn’t require any technological expertise.

And that’s by surrounding your router with dense materials. Like concrete or stones.

To tell you the truth, if we ever have a massive power outage, this is what I am planning on doing.

During emergencies, we have to think outside the box.

Situations that we might not have dealt with before might begin to surface.

If you don’t want your house to become a target, consider one of the two ways to reduce your router’s range.

3 Ways To Produce Power Without Electricity

Time and time again we have witnessed our power grid fail to work in emergencies.

Whether it’s from a storm, an earthquake, or a tornado, power outages are very frequent in the U.S.

If we want to be self-sufficient, we have to reduce our reliance on the grid by watching this short video that will help you save so much money this summer!.

All I ask is that you please watch the first 3 minutes and 27 seconds of this “survive without the power grid” video, because if you do, you’ll save a LOT of money and won’t need as much energy as you think you need!

One way to do this is by exploring alternative energy sources.

These sources are not just environmentally friendly but also allow us to generate our own power.

In this newsletter, we’ll take a look at three popular alternative energy sources: solar, wind, and biomass.

  • Solar Energy

Solar energy is one of the most widely used alternative energy sources.

And is ideal for preppers who want to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.

Solar panels convert sunlight into energy.

And with advances in technology, they’ve become much more efficient.

Installing a solar panel system can be a bit costly at first.

But over time, it will pay for itself as you no longer have to use the power grid for electricity.

This guy did it and showed the results in this video.

  • Wind Energy.

Wind energy is another popular alternative energy source, especially for those who live in windy areas.

Wind turbines generate electricity by harnessing the power of the wind.

Just like with solar panels, wind turbines can be a significant upfront payment, but will be reducing your electricity bills in the future.

Additionally, wind turbines are relatively low-maintenance and have a long lifespan.

  • Biomass Energy.

Biomass energy is a type of renewable energy that is generated from organic matter, such as wood chips, agricultural waste, and sewage.

It can be used to generate electricity or heat houses.

Unlike solar and wind energy, biomass energy is often used in rural areas and is ideal for preppers who have a lot of land and want to make the most of it.

Tap on this link to learn more about it.

I believe that every prepper should have at least one way to produce natural energy.

Whether it’s from the sun, wind, or biomass, the decision is up to you.

It will vastly reduce your reliance on the grid, and you will be saving important resources in the future.

Do you produce your own energy in your house? I’d love to hear about it!

How To Build Your Own Power Generator

It happened again last night, folks.

I was sitting on my porch, sipping on my favorite cup of tea when the streetlights suddenly flickered and went out.

Yep, another power outage.

But, unlike most people, I didn’t have to worry about being left in the dark.

Why? Because I’ve built my very own self-powered generator, and if you don’t believe me, you can see my post about survival generators on my Tik Tok channel here.

Knowing how to build these things on your own has become a necessity nowadays.

The grid is unstable.

And we can’t rely on it.

Before you think that I’m some kind of engineering whiz, let me assure you that this project is completely doable for anyone with a little patience and a few basic tools.

I have built a wind turbine for such occasions specifically.

I started by gathering a few essential materials like PVC pipes, a motor, and some basic tools.

I then crafted the blades from the PVC pipes, making sure they were lightweight and well-balanced to capture the wind’s energy efficiently.

I found an old motor that I had lying around and attached the blades to it.

The motor would convert the wind’s kinetic energy into electrical power.

To store this power, I connected the motor to a battery system using a charge controller.

This way, I could use the stored energy whenever I needed it, even when the wind wasn’t blowing.

I must say, the feeling of accomplishment when I first saw the blades spinning and generating power was indescribable.

It reminded me of the importance of self-reliance and the sense of fulfillment that comes from creating something with my own hands.

But folks, a wind turbine is just one example of a self-powered generator.

There are other options out there that you can explore, such as solar panels or even a bicycle generator.

The key is to find the one that best suits your needs and your environment.

So I encourage you to take matters into your own hands and build a self-powered generator.

You can’t put too much trust in the authorities nowadays.

Instead, build a power generator on your own and embrace the challenge and rewards that come with it.

Remember, our goal is not just to survive but to thrive in the face of adversity.

And having our very own DIY self-powered generator is just another step towards that goal.

Please let me know if any of the movies below have made your list of Christmas favorites.

1 – It’s a Wonderful Life

I really love this “old” Christmas classic, but it can be a slight bit boring for the younger kids, so make sure to serve some hot chocolate while watching this black and white holiday delight.

2 – A Christmas Story

Honestly, not one of my favorites, not sure why really, but my friends and family all love it, so I have to go with the popular vote on this one to make it number 2 on my list.

3 – National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

When I was little this was my favorite, but it;s kind of lost it’s lustre over the years, but again, my loved ones and freinds disgagree with me and really love this Chevy Chase classic.

4 – The Santa Clause

-Now we are talking! I grew up with this Tim Allen classic, and it’s number 2 on my list even though it only broke the top 5 on this list.

5 – Home Alone

This is by far and away my favorite Christmas movire of all time, and not sure how it only made it to number 5 on this list.

6 – A Christmas Carol (Mickey Mouse cartoon)

I don;t ever remember seeing this movie, so I think I’m going to give ot a shot this weekend!

7 – Christmas with the Cranks

Another awesome Tim Allen Christmas movie that I really enjoy watching during the holidays!
