The Real Reason God Works In Mysterious Ways

Someone once asked me, “If God knows everything, why doesn’t He just tell us?”

It was a good question.

Knowing everything would make things much easier.

We would know when we’d pass away, how to solve everything in our journeys, and there wouldn’t ever be any surprises.

However, this would quickly become dull, wouldn’t it?

If we know everything, then what’s the point?

It’s like when people’s childlike wonder phases away as they become adults.

When you are a child, everything is exciting.

As you find out more and more about the world around you, everything fascinates you.

You want to see different places and cultures, and meet different people.

However, this ends at some point.

As children become adults, they don’t have the same interest in exploring.

Their journeys feel dull compared to when they were kids.

That is because adults usually feel like there are not a lot of mysteries left to solve.

Especially nowadays, you can find out anything you want, simply by pressing a few buttons on your smartphone.

This is why we should embrace the fact that God works in mysterious ways.

That means recognizing that there are things we don’t know, and that’s okay.

We should have a sense of wonder and awe in the face of uncertainty, and find joy in our journeys.

God’s mystery is also an essential element of faith.

If everything was known and predictable, faith would cease to exist.

Faith is about believing in something greater than ourselves, even if we cannot fully comprehend it.

It is about trusting in God’s plan for our journeys, even if we don’t understand the reasons behind the events we experience.

This challenges us to grow and develop as Christians.

And it pushes us to ask questions, seek answers, and deepen our understanding of the world around us.

With every difficulty we face, we learn and grow in ways we wouldn’t if everything were easy and predictable.

Think about every uncertainty you are currently going through.

Instead of despairing, embrace the mystery.

And regain your childlike wonder.

So enjoy the ride and trust that God is guiding you every step of the way.
