The Media Treats Christians Like We’re CRAZY PEOPLE, Yet Too Scared To Say Anything About Terrorist Supporters? It’s Out Of Control!

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first.” (John 15:18).

I honestly don’t understand how things have gotten so backwards. Why does the media treat Christians like we’re crazy people—mocked, labeled, dismissed—when all we stand for is love, truth, and faith? We believe in mercy. We care about people. We pray for our enemies. And yet, time and again, the world treats us like we’re the problem.

But what’s worse—what’s insane, honestly—is how the same media refuses to criticize college protesters who are openly supporting Hamas, a known terrorist group. How is that okay? How are people who support violence and terror given sympathy, while people who follow Christ are ridiculed?

It makes no sense. Christians love. We serve. We give. We forgive. Terrorists kill and destroy. And yet somehow, they’re “justified” by angry slogans or “activism,” while we’re portrayed as hateful for holding a Bible or speaking about Jesus. I try to be patient. I try to understand. But sometimes, I feel frustrated and deeply heartbroken.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness…”

Isaiah 5:20

It’s hard not to feel frustrated when I see so much hypocrisy. But I know, deep down, this isn’t new. Jesus said this would happen.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 5:10

Still… I know what Jesus said. He warned us: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first.” (John 15:18). I guess this is what it looks like to live in a fallen world. Light is threatening to darkness. Truth is offensive to lies. It hurts to see it play out this way, but maybe I shouldn’t be surprised.

Even when it feels like we’re alone, I know we’re not. God sees. God knows. He is just. I don’t need to shout or fight back with the same rage. I just need to stay rooted in Him. I can grieve the brokenness of the world without becoming bitter. I can speak the truth without letting hate harden my heart.

So Lord, help me. Help me to stay faithful, not fearful. Loving, not angry. Truthful, not silent. And help me to remember that even when everything seems upside down—You are still God. You are still in control. And You still win.

But ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We Christians Must Not Let Others WALK ALL OVER US!

    1. “That’s why i want to send you that book. Martin Odoni appears to be an example of Human AI Robots now at work in the World.”

Me, an AI robot? Oh good grief!

Given how the average Christian is a Bible-quoting android, that is pretty rich, you know.

No, I am not AI, I am not a robot, I am simply educated. I really wish more Christians would subject themselves to such processes.

Just for the record, I agree with you on the dangers of AI. But the solution to those dangers cannot be found in the Bible.

  2. It is a time when we should not be compromising! Maybe it is always time to NOT compromise. Love states when someone’s path is taking them straight away from God. Love is the answer to the wrongs that happen daily. Love strikes out against things that oppress God’s children. Love speaks up when it witnesses wrongs. Thank you for being that light of Love that is speaking up and speaking out! God bless you!

  3. This is because they know Christians will never harm them on the other hand is not painful at all to open their mouth and say brave things like Christians are crazy, verifying in public their atheism, and their spiritual death!

  4. All that stuff about Christians and love is just a bundle of self-idealising platitudes. Many Christians in reality are unhinged, violent and full of prejudicial hatred.

The College students DON’T support Hamas. Don’t strawman people, that’s just another way you are guilty of LYING. ANOTHER BREACH OF THE 9TH COMMANDMENT! You will be a prime candidate for Hell if you don’t pack that in. If you need to misrepresent things in order to defend your position, by definition your position must be wrong.

The students support the Palestinian people, the great majority of whom are innocent of any crimes, and who as a whole are on the brink of extinction. That land that we now call Israel, back in 1947 was ALL Palestine. After Israel was imposed on half of it by the United Nations in 1948, Israel has gradually occupied the rest of Palestine and, slice by slice, has annexed almost all of it. Read up on “The Nakba.” All that is left now of Palestine is Gaza and the West Bank, and the Israelis are still stealing more bits of them both every couple of weeks.

Hamas, which didn’t even exist as a political entity until 1988, is just an inevitable consequence of the oppression the Palestinians have suffered since the 1940s, as their lands have been slowly absorbed by Israel. As the situation for Palestinians has grown more desperate, more extreme elements inevitably emerge to fight back against it. That’s a pattern of human history. The closer a people come to being wiped out, the more violently they are compelled to fight back.

On the subject of supporting terrorism, why do so many US Christians support Israel? The horrors that the IDF rain down on the Palestinian people go some way beyond mere terrorism, and are downright genocidal. But you don’t seem to be aware of them.

You are also ignoring the reality that the pro-Palestine campaigners in the USA DO get an awful lot of condemnation, and are routinely attacked by the police. Zionist supporters by contrast tend to get away with far worse public behaviour.

Again on the subject of supporting terrorists, how many American Christians support the NRA? The movement that makes gun massacres a daily occurence in US life that routinely shocks the rest of the world, all for the sake of making profits for gun manufacturers. How are these massacres not terrorism? How is backing such excessive gun rights that create such routine bloodshed not ALSO supporting violence and terror ?

Look, I have nothing against you personally. You are a very charming lady, and I don’t doubt in person you are very sweet-natured. But you are out of step with reality, and no matter how photogenic you undoubtedly are, your pictures won’t disguise the fact that your posts are frequently ill-informed nonsense. You need to do more research before writing, because what you write makes you sound startlingly naive.

It brings me no pleasure saying all that, but it’s true.

      1. I will apologise for calling you racist when you retract calling Palestinians “terrorists”. Because that is a racist assumption.

Nobody is saying you can’t have an opposing view. But you can’t have an UNCHALLENGEABLE view. And it says something that you find the word ‘racist’ objectionable, but you do not find actual racist attitudes objectionable.
