This Christian Principle Is Essential For Your Health

I have witnessed something sad lately.

People around the world have started to take their health for granted.

They don’t take the necessary steps to care for themselves.

This became painfully clear in a recent study by OnePoll.

They found out that most of the millennials they asked lacked knowledge about nonmelanoma skin cancer and proper sun protection.

And almost half of the participants said they didn’t even use sunscreen on their legs and back.

The modern youth doesn’t seem to care about sun radiation.

But this goes beyond that

People have overlooked the fact that sound physical well-being is essential for nurturing a thriving mind.

As Christians, we understand that every step we take, no matter how small, matters in the eyes of God.

This belief extends to the choices we make about our health.

Simple, daily decisions, like applying sunscreen, getting enough sleep, or eating a nutritious meal, contribute to overall physical well-being.

When we consistently take these small steps, we honor the physical vessels that God has given us.

We understand that they are blessings that must be cherished.

And we set an example for the modern youth by taking care of ourselves.

Our faith teaches us that we should not become complacent in any aspect of our existence, including our health.

God has given us every tool we need to live in good health and happiness.

And it is our responsibility, our duty to respect that.

In light of this, I encourage you to reflect on the small steps you take each day to care for your health.

How can you honor God through these choices?

Are there areas in which you can make improvements?

Remember, even the smallest of adjustments can have a lasting impact on our well-being.

May we always strive to live in a manner that satisfies God, recognizing that every little thing we do truly matters.

As we care for our health and the health of those around us, let us pray for wisdom, discernment, and the strength to make positive adjustments in our daily experiences.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ guide us through our journey.

Serving Others Like This Pushes You Further Away From God

Scripture is full of verses about serving others.

Take a look at Ephesians 6:7, for example: “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.”

Or Hebrews 13:16: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

It is clear that God wants us to support other people.

And that serving others means we are also serving the Lord.

However, let me ask you a question.

If your neighbor asked to spend your whole weekend painting his house, would you do it?

What if your old relative reached out because he wanted someone to drive him around for a week?

It starts becoming ridiculous at some point

Serving others when you don’t really want to can make you hateful.

And it can push you away from God’s path.

So what are you supposed to do?

Well, as they say, the Devil lies in the details.

The key to serving others the right way is to know the extent you are willing to go.

Before you try to assist other people ask yourself what you want.

Try this mental exercise…..

If no one judged you for pleasing yourself, what would you like to do?

This is a question that seems “taboo” for Christians.

But let’s take a look at Ephesians 6:7 again: “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.”

The word “wholeheartedly” is also a part of the verse.

We have to serve others because of the goodness in our hearts, not out of necessity.

The simplest way to do that is by knowing what makes you happy.

In other words, understand your own boundaries and desires.

When you are satisfied with your decisions, you can support people in need without resentment.

So the next time someone asks you for a favor, don’t feel guilty if you want to say “no.”

Consider your own desires first.

And be brave enough to speak your mind.

Otherwise, we are just people-pleasers, not Christians.

God Bless!

Why Volunteering Is Essential For Fulfilling Christian Goals

Did you know that giving to charity can assist you with any goal have?

I know it sounds odd. But let us take a close look at this verse.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6 38)

This beautifully encapsulates the essence of giving.

When you give, you receive. God blesses you for your good decisions.

He assists you in the areas that you need assistance.

If you want loving and fulfilling relationships, He will support you.

If you want personal growth and development, He will support you.

And if you want to step away from work early and spend time with your grandchildren, He will support you with that goal as well.

However, some folks hesitate to give to charity because they cannot afford it.

And that is understandable. Especially with everything that’s going on lately.

But charitable giving doesn’t simply mean helping others financially.

There are endless ways to support the less fortunate.

One of the most impactful ways you can give is by donating your time, skills, and compassion through volunteering.

By dedicating your hours to serve others in need, you become a living testament of God’s love and kindness.

Proverbs 11:25 says “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

Volunteering allows us to enrich our own experiences as we enrich the experiences of others.

It unlocks doors for personal growth and the development of meaningful relationships.

It even shows us different perspectives that can bring about a greater appreciation of our own circumstances.

You can volunteer in various capacities.

Perhaps tutoring children in your community, assisting in local food banks, participating in community clean-up drives, or even providing companionship to the elderly.

Each deed of service, no matter how small, brings you closer to God.

Remember, it’s not always about what you give, but about the heart and the intent behind it.

As we follow Jesus’ footsteps in service to others, we inch closer to His teachings and invite abundant blessings into our own journeys.

So let us embrace charitable giving. In any way we can.

God Bless

An Unusual Way To Deepen Your Faith

God has given us a lot of blessings.

Including the ability to create and appreciate art.

Art is an incredible way to express your true feelings in ways that words can’t.

But did you know that it can also be an incredible tool to deepen your faith and connect with God?

It’s true.

Throughout the Sacred Texts, we see examples of art being used to glorify God and express our love for Him.

In Exodus 31, God tells Moses to choose Bezalel, a skilled artisan, to create the artwork for the tabernacle.

In Psalm 33 3, we are encouraged to sing, play skillfully, and shout for joy.

When we engage in artistic activities like painting, drawing, or playing music, we are tapping into that divine spark within us.

We are using the talents and abilities that God has given us to create something beautiful and meaningful.

And in doing so, we are glorifying Him and deepening our faith.

When we create art that reflects God’s beauty and love, we are expressing our faith in a unique way.

Throughout history, many of the greatest works of art have been inspired by Christian themes and beliefs.

Art is not just for “professionals.”

Anyone can engage in artistic activities.

Whether it’s painting a picture, writing a poem, or playing an instrument, art can be anything.

By tapping into our creative energy, we can connect with God and express ourselves in a way that is pleasing to Him.

So if you’re looking for more ways to deepen your faith and connect with God, I encourage you to try incorporating art into your daily routine.

Take some time to reflect on the beauty of God’s creation, and let that inspire you to create something beautiful of your own.

It is okay if what you create has flaws.

Actually, it is supposed to.

The point is to express yourself in different ways.

Why don’t you try it?

And if you need some guidance.

See why creating art is easier than you think.

Why Jesus Walking On Water Is More Important Than You Think

Did you know that Jesus walking on water is more than just a display of divine power?

This well-known event carries an underlying message that can aid you in elevating your faith.

Often, when we think about Jesus walking on water, we marvel at the spectacle itself.

However, a deeper look into this event reveals a remarkable interaction between Jesus and His disciple Peter.

An interaction that underscores a fundamental truth about faith and our focus.

When Peter sees Jesus walking on the water, he is compelled by his faith to join Jesus.

Filled with fervor and trust, Peter steps out of the boat and starts walking on the water towards Jesus. For a brief moment, Peter defies the natural laws just like Jesus.

But then something occurs that alters everything.

Peter shifts his focus from Jesus to the fierce wind around him. Fear creeps in, and doubt replaces his initial faith. As a result, he starts to sink.

This moment is essential for our faith.

Peter began by walking on water, an impossible feat, but lost this ability the moment he let fear and doubt cloud his faith.

What can we glean from this mighty instance?

It is a clear reminder for us that our focus determines our reality.

When Peter was focused on Jesus, he was able to walk on water.

But right when his focus shifted to the wind around him, he began to sink.

In our journeys, we often face stormy seas and strong winds.

Problems arise, difficulties occur, and we may feel like we’re being tossed around in a relentless storm.

During such times, where is our focus? Are we fixated on our concerns, or are we focusing on Jesus, our source of support and salvation?

Just as Peter was able to walk on water by keeping his eyes on Jesus, we too can overcome our challenges by focusing on Him.

He is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer.

When we look to Him, our fears dwindle, our faith strengthens, and we find the courage to face our storms.

Jesus walking on water is more than a testament to His divine power.

It is a lesson about the importance of keeping our gaze fixed on Him during tough times.

The storm around us may be terrifying,

But the Savior before us is infinitely more formidable.

May this profound understanding guide us through our journey, and aid us in navigating our personal storms with unwavering faith and focus on Jesus.

Do You Have The Courage To Let God Guide You?

If you are a Christian like me, the you know that God loves us and has a plan for our journeys.

But sometimes we struggle to let go and trust Him completely.

We want to be in control and make our own decisions.

To move the needle wherever we want to.

It’s normal to feel this way.

But the truth is, if we want to experience true growth, we need God’s support.

We can’t do everything ourselves.

So what does it mean to let God take control?

It means surrendering our will, our desires, and our plans to Him.

It means acknowledging that He knows what’s good for us, even when we don’t.

And trusting that His ways are higher than ours.

This is not an easy thing to do.

But I know that I’m not talking to atheists.

If you are reading this, you’ve probably experienced God’s love and power first-hand.

When we let God take control, everything begins to make more sense.

We become more like Christ, and less like our old selves.

We begin to see the world through His eyes and to love others with His heart.

Sometimes we may worry that God will not come through for us, or that He will take us down a path we don’t want to go.

But showing your trust is another one of God’s tests.

One that we have to go through if we want our journeys to alter.

God loves us more than we can imagine, and He wants what’s good for us.

But how do we let God take control?

It begins with prayer and surrender.

We need to ask God for the courage to let go of our need for control and trust Him completely.

We need to surrender our plans, our fears, and our doubts to Him, and ask Him to guide us in His will.

As we surrender to God, we will experience the power of His love and grace in our journeys.

We will be transformed by His Spirit, and we will begin to see the world in a unique way.

So let’s choose to let go and let God take control.

As we experience true bliss.

Is Social Media From The Devil?

Have you been on Tik Tok or any social media platform lately?

Kids, teens, and even adults of all ages these days are posting everything there.

From what they eat in the morning to the places they visit, it seems like there’s no end to what they share.

They even post about their personal lives, including relationships and struggles.

This might seem like a childish behavior they will grow out of,

But it is more than it looks.

This constant need for attention and validation is keeping them away from God.

Take a look at this verse from Scripture:

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

God wants us to be humble.

Social media, however, is appealing to people’s narcissistic side.

It makes our children hunt for likes, comments, or how many followers they have.

And it is steering them away from the path that God has laid out for us.

It doesn’t have to be that way, however.

Social media is not fundamentally good or bad.

It is simply a tool for communication.

And it depends on how people use it.

Take this Christian blog post you are currently reading, for example.

I am using social media to share God’s ways with good Christians like yourself.

There is nothing wrong with using it, as long as we are following God’s Will.

As parents, teachers, and role models, we can teach our children to use this technology as a tool to connect with others, spread love, and share God’s word.

We can also encourage them to be mindful of what they post on the web and to prioritize their spiritual growth over popularity.

Let’s support our children to understand the true value of humility and to use social media in a way that brings them closer to God, not further away.

Remember, Scripture tells us that we are to “be transformed by the renewing of our minds.” (Romans 12:2)

This applies to our use of social media as well.

So let’s renew our minds and use social media in a way that honors God.

How Praying Protects You From Aging

Have you ever seen someone who looked 30 even though he was 50?

Or someone who looked 50 even though he was 30?

This used to confuse me in the past…

Why do people differ so much from one another?

I recently read a study, however, that opened my eyes to the answer.

As it turns out, our emotions play a huge role in how quickly our cells age.

Scientists have discovered that negative emotions such as stress, anxiety, and depression can actually cause our cells to age faster.

But this is actually good news for us.

As Christians, we have a powerful tool to help us manage our emotions and even reverse the aging process – prayer.

Prayer is not just a way to communicate with God.

It also has numerous benefits for our physical and emotional well-being.

When we pray, we are able to release our worries and fears to God, giving us a sense of peace and tranquility.

This can help reduce stress and anxiety, which in turn can slow down the aging process.

Prayer also helps us to focus on the present moment and let go of any negative thoughts or emotions that may be holding us back.

Most people are constantly worrying about the future.

And most of the time, they worry about things they can’t control.

Praying, however, allows us to be mindful and experience our lives as God wants us to…present.

This mindfulness can help reduce feelings of depression and improve overall emotional well-being.

Look anywhere in your local church, and you will see it in people’s eyes.

Everyone has a deeper sense of gratitude and joy when they are connected to God.

When we take time to reflect on the blessings in our lives, we are able to focus on the positive and appreciate the little things.

That’s I encourage you to make prayer a regular part of your daily routine.

It may seem small, but it can have a big impact on our lives.

As we grow older, it’s important to be at peace with our emotions.

It will show in our faces, and in our thoughts.

Remember, God is always with us.

And through prayer, we can actually enjoy our lives…instead of worrying about every little thing.

So stay close to God, and you will stay young even at a late age.

Just Do This To Be More Like Christ

(CLICK HERE TO PRAY WITH ME FOR STRENGTH!) Please! I Need Strength Today! After What Happened Today, My Heart is Torn! Everyone’s Heart is Torn! Pray with me!

As a young Christian woman living in a world of social media, one of the most common questions I hear is, “How can I become more like Christ?”

There are many ways to answer this question, but one of the most robust ways we have is our own self-talk.

What we say to ourselves on a regular basis can have a significant impact on our thoughts, feelings, and activities.

That’s why I want to talk to you about the power of labeling yourself with godly traits.

When we label ourselves with godly traits, we are essentially speaking God’s truth over our journeys.

Instead of allowing negative self-talk to take over, we are intentionally choosing to focus on the positive attributes that God has given us.

This can include traits such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, which are the fruits of the Spirit.

Scripture tells us that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. (Romans 12: 2)

When we label ourselves with good traits, we are actively changing our minds and aligning our thoughts with God’s truth.

And we are reminding ourselves that we should strive to be more like Christ and the identity that God has given us as His children.

When we identify ourselves as patient, for example, we are more likely to exhibit patience in our interactions with others.

When we identify ourselves as loving, we are more likely to show love to those around us.

By focusing on these positive qualities, we are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts, where our thoughts and behaviors align with the labels we have chosen for ourselves.

Too many people nowadays think negatively about themselves.

They take on too much responsibility and blame themselves for everything.

But this isn’t what God would want us to do.

We should treat ourselves just like we treat the people around us, with love and patience.

As you go about your day-to-day, I encourage you to give more attention to your self-talk and the labels you are placing on yourself.

Are they uplifting, or are they negative?

Remember, becoming more like Christ is our goal.

Let’s choose to label ourselves with these godly traits.

And watch as God transforms us from the inside out.

God Bless
