If you’ve ever had a religious conversation with an atheist, then this question probably came up.
“If there is a God, then why is He giving people cancer?”
Atheists are constantly trying to prove that God doesn’t exist.
But let’s go along with their argument for a while.
What if people didn’t ever become sick?
It sounds nice at first.
But take a moment to picture a world where everyone was healthy…no matter how much they abused their body.
Our actions would be robbed of their meaning.
It wouldn’t matter what we did.
Drinking.
Smoking.
Drugs.
Everything would be the same as living a healthy lifestyle.
And we would quickly not even have a reason to live purely.
Disease, however, is what gives our health meaning.
It allows us to appreciate what we have instead of taking it for granted.
It is the greatest motivator to exercise regularly, sleep 7 to 8 hours every night, and take care of our physical and spiritual health.
And it is how God tests our trust in Him.
When we face challenges, it can often be tempting to become discouraged or even question God’s plan.
However, if we approach these challenges with a positive attitude, they can become opportunities for us to grow in our faith and deepen our relationship with God.
One of the key biblical principles is perseverance.
In James 1:2-4, we are told to consider it pure joy when we face trials, because they test our faith and produce perseverance.
By relying on God’s strength and seeking His guidance during times of struggle, we can build resilience and deepen our trust in Him.
Through our hardships, we learn to be thankful for the blessings in our journeys.
Our loved ones, our health, our possessions, this is how everything gains meaning.
God sends challenges our way because He loves us and wants us to evolve.
So if you are ever faced with health issues, don’t be discouraged.
Be thankful for them.
They are not obstacles.
They are God’s way to allow us to appreciate His blessings to us.
Have you ever wondered why resisting a late-night snack is difficult?
During the day, most people can stick to eating healthy.
But when the night comes, a lot of people feel the need to treat themselves to some “guilty pleasure.”
There is a very good reason why this happens.
And it’s the fact that as the day progresses, our willpower drops.
The Devil knows this.
And he does everything in his power to lure us away from God’s path.
He has many ways to do that.
He can give us sinful thoughts
Urge us to neglect our spiritual practices
Or push us toward unhealthy habits.
But we are not powerless against him.
We have God on our side.
Ephesians 6:11 says “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
This includes the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, and the sword of the Spirit.
It is not enough to simply put on the armor, we must also be ready to use it.
We need to be aware that the Devil is always seeking to exploit our weaknesses.
And one of these weaknesses is our declining willpower as the day progresses.
When we are tired or stressed, it becomes easier to give in to temptation.
This is why it is essential to remain vigilant throughout the day, especially in the evening when we are most vulnerable.
As Christians, we have the power of prayer to strengthen us.
We should make it a habit to pray for God’s protection and strength every day.
Even when we feel well.
We should also seek to build up our willpower by developing healthy habits that can aid us in resisting temptation.
These habits might include regular exercise, getting enough rest, and avoiding situations that may trigger temptation.
Someone once asked me, “I have reached out to God so many times but didn’t ever hear back from Him. Doesn’t He want to talk to me?”
This heart-wrenching question is not uncommon. Especially during the trying times we are currently going through.
When we find ourselves in the midst of storms, it’s natural to yearn for a clear, reassuring voice from above. A voice that would calm our troubled hearts and affirm that we are not alone.
I want to assure you that God does indeed hear you.
And he does more than that. He always responds.
But His responses might not be what we expect.
He often communicates through subtle hints. Seemingly insignificant events that nudge us in the right direction.
These are the instances that we often overlook, dismiss as mere coincidence, or perhaps fail to acknowledge in our quest for more evident signs of His presence.
The buddy who reaches out just when we’re feeling low.
The unexpected resolution to a lingering pain.
The gentle, comforting breeze on a particularly challenging day.
These are God’s whispers, His silent assurances that He is with us, guiding and protecting us.
The key to noticing these instances is developing a heightened sense of awareness.
Amid the noise and commotion of our experiences, it requires us to quieten our minds and attune our hearts to the subtleties of His divine orchestration.
It’s about recognizing His voice in the silence, His presence in the solitude, His guidance in the seemingly mundane.
I encourage you to pause, breathe, and keenly observe the world around you.
Look for these subtle indications of His presence.
They might be unassuming and easy to overlook, but they are there, waiting to be found, affirming His guidance and love.
God’s communication often comes in the softest of whispers, rather than in roaring thunders.
So keep reaching out to Him.
And as you do, listen intently. His answer may be subtly disguised in the happenings of your daily experiences.

How Your Faith in Christianity Can Make Your Heart Stronger
We, as followers of Christ, have an incredible fortress at our disposal…
Our faith.
We’ve been taught not to be anxious, but to let our worries be known to God through prayer and supplication.
In doing so, a peace that surpasses any understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
One of our greatest tools for combating anxiety is forgiveness.
Holding onto grudges is proven to increase our stress levels, which can detrimentally impact our heart health.
On the other hand, forgiveness, a cornerstone of our faith, can reduce this stress and encourage a peaceful state of mind.
Forgiveness is not just about absolving others of their wrongdoings.
It’s about freeing ourselves from the chains of resentment that bind us, chains that place undue stress on our hearts.
When we forgive, we create an environment of peace and love within us, which promotes improved physical health.
Jesus Himself set the greatest example of forgiveness on the cross.
In the midst of pain and betrayal, He chose to forgive.
His words, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing,” echo in our hearts, reminding us of the power and necessity of forgiveness.
Practicing forgiveness is not always easy. It requires humility and strength.
But it’s important to remember that we’re not alone in this process.
We can always seek God’s help in prayer, asking Him to give us the strength to forgive just as He forgives us.
As we practice forgiveness, we are guarding our hearts from the potential effects of stress and anxiety.
Let us continue walking God’s path, and enjoy the health benefits along the way.
A lot of Christians in my church have talked to me about the same subject
People accuse them of being selfish for trying to reach Heaven.
They say that they follow God’s Will simply for their own personal benefit.
Instead of becoming defensive, let’s try to stand from the accusers’ point of view.
Doing everything in our power to go to Heaven might seem like selfish behavior to atheists.
If our primary concern is our own salvation, then we are not living out Christ’s commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves.
We might become so focused on ourselves that we neglect to show love and compassion to those around us who are also in need of God’s grace.
In this sense, trying to live forever can indeed be selfish.
But is that accusation fair?
From our perspective, the desire to reach Heaven is simply a natural response to the love and grace that God has bestowed upon us.
It is not about personal gain, but about living to serve and glorify God.
In that way, following God’s Will could be considered the ultimate expression of selflessness.
So, which is it? Is trying to reach Heaven selfish or selfless?
The answer, I believe, lies in the heart behind the motivation.
If our motivation is rooted in a deep love for God and a desire to support the less fortunate, then it’s pure and right.
We are seeking to align our will with God’s Will, not because we want to gain salvation or escape punishment, but because we want to grow closer to Him.
However, if our motivation is solely to escape hell or gain entry into heaven, then it is selfish.
We are reducing God to a means to an end, using Him as a tool to achieve our own ends rather than loving Him for who He is.
And that is not right.
That is why we have to be certain of our motivations before we try to glorify God.
Let us examine our hearts and our motives for following God’s will.
Let us seek to love God and others because of the goodness in our hearts, minds, and souls.
And let our desire to reach Heaven be rooted in that love.
What Scripture says about selflessness.
May God grant us the grace to follow Him with pure hearts and selfless motives.
One of the most pressing questions that we Christians must grapple with is the issue of pain and hardship.
If God is good, then why does He allow such things to happen?
This is a question that has been asked by believers and non-believers alike for millennia.
And it is one that continues to trouble us.
First and foremost, it is important to acknowledge that pain and hardship are real and difficult experiences that many of us have to go through.
Whether it is physical pain, emotional pain, or the pain of loss, these experiences can be incredibly difficult to bear.
It is natural to ask why we must endure such trials, especially when we believe in a loving and compassionate God.
What everyone must understand, however, is that God did not create a world full of pain and hardship.
In the beginning, everything was good.
But sin entered the world through the disobedience of Adam and Eve.
This disobedience caused a separation between humanity and God, which resulted in the pain, hardship, and brokenness that we see in the world.
However, just because sin is the cause of pain and hardship does not mean that God lacks the power to intervene.
God has done everything possible to restore our relationship with Him and to redeem the world from the effects of sin.
This is why He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to undergo the crucifixion for our sins.
Through Jesus, we have the hope of living eternally and the assurance that one day pain and hardship will be eradicated.
In the meantime, we must remember that God is with us in our hardships and that He can use even our most difficult experiences for good.
As Isaiah 55:9 says, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
We must stay strong.
Are You Too Nice of a Christian?
As Christians, we are called to love and serve others.
As it is written in the Bible: “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.” (Colossians 3:12)
We are taught to be kind, compassionate, and understanding.
However, there is a fine line between being kind and being too nice.
Being too nice can actually be harmful to both ourselves and the people around us.
When we are too nice, we often put the needs and wants of others before our own.
And this can lead to feelings of resentment and burnout…even if we don’t realize it right away.
Additionally, when we are too nice, we can often run away from difficult conversations and situations.
We may not confront someone about their behavior or even stand up for ourselves.
This is how unresolved issues are made.
That’s why we should always be direct and honest.
It doesn’t mean that we should be rude or attacking.
We can still be kind and compassionate.
But if you are too nice, how can you even begin to do that?
Well, this is the reason I’m writing this Christian Blog article.
I’ve gathered several ideas you can follow to continue living according to God’s will without putting other people’s needs before your own:
Set boundaries.
It’s important to understand that you have the right to say no and to have your own needs and wants.
Communicate effectively.
When someone is crossing your boundaries or you are feeling taken advantage of, it’s important to speak up and communicate your feelings.
Take care of yourself.
Make sure you are taking care of your own physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
We are responsible for our health. And we should take care of ourselves just like we take care of our loved ones.
Stand up for yourself and others.
Jesus stood up for the marginalized and oppressed, as it is written in Luke 4:18:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
We can do the same by speaking up and stepping forward when we see injustice.
As Christians, we can sometimes forget about our own needs and wants.
But we should be compassionate towards ourselves, just as we do with others.
So don’t fall for the “nice trap”, and always remember these 4 tips.
How Many Calories Do You Need To Survive?
Did you know that the average person needs just about 1200-1500 calories to survive?
It’s true. Researchers have found that we don’t need as much food as most people think to keep ticking over.
But let’s not become too excited, folks.
That’s just for pure survival
For your basic physiological functions like breathing, heart beating, and maintaining temperature.
This is essentially what you need to stay alive.
If you are a prepper, then you know that surviving is not the same as thriving.
When you’re trying to make it through a tough situation.
Whether it’s a natural emergency or some other type of situation
You’re not just going to be lying around.
You’ll be active.
You’ll be under stress.
You’ll be using your body and mind in ways that demand much more than those 1200-1500 calories.
So how much do you actually need?
To give you a ballpark figure, an average moderately active man needs around 2,500 calories a day.
And an average moderately active woman needs around 2,000 calories a day to maintain their weight and health.
When you’re dealing with a survival situation, it’s essential to have high energy, nutrient dense foods to keep you fueled.
Things like nuts and seeds, dried fruits, canned goods, protein bars, and MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) can provide a substantial amount of calories in a small, portable package.
Remember, folks, planning is key.
Knowing how many calories you and your family will need in an emergency and preparing your food stores in advance can make a world of difference when the chips are down.
So the next time you’re out shopping, instead of grabbing that pack of ramen noodles, why not invest in some nutrient-rich, high-calorie foods that will really give you the energy you need when SHTF?
Survival is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. And for this long haul, you need to fuel yourself properly.
So let’s keep our survival instincts sharp and our health well-nourished.

How To Invite God’s Beauty Into Your Household
God created a beautiful world for us to live in.
The intricate detail of a leaf, the grandeur of a sunset, the majestic mountains that touch the skies.
Each element of His creation is a testament to His glory and love.
And yet, something blocks us from truly experiencing His magnificent creations.
Our houses.
That’s right. We spend most of our time indoors.
If our living spaces don’t mirror God’s beauty and harmony He infused into nature, then we might feel disconnected from Him.
Our households are more than just brick and mortar. They’re our sanctuaries, where we rest, rejuvenate, and draw closer to our Heavenly Father.
As such, the condition of our houses can significantly influence our well-being.
Dozens, if not hundreds of studies have been published around this very subject.
And everyone has arrived at the same conclusion. A peaceful, well-kept house can promote tranquility, focus, and overall mental health.
So how can we try to invite God’s beauty into our households and enhance our living spaces?
Well, there are more ways than most people think.
Embrace minimalism
Much like the calming simplicity of a serene beach, a house without clutter reduces stress and promotes peace. Keep your space tidy and throw away or donate unnecessary items.
Celebrate natural light
Sunlight pouring through a window is a divine blessing from above. It can lift our mood, improve our sleep, and enhance productivity. Keep windows clean and unobstructed to allow as much natural light as possible.
Grow indoor plants
Just as a tree glorifies God with its growth, so can the plants in our households. They add a splash of God’s natural beauty into our space. Plus, they improve air quality.
Add personal touches
Create a house that reflects who you are and your love for the Lord. This could be family photos, cherished mementos, or religious symbols.
With our houses reflecting God’s natural beauty, let us rejoice in His creation, both outside and within our personal abodes.
May God bless our efforts to make our households an extension of His grandeur and beauty.

This Wifi Mistake Can Put Your Family At Risk
I just thought of something that could be essential for our readiness when SHTF.
Everyone has wifi in their houses, right?
It is something we usually take for granted. Sometimes we even ask for it when we enter a public place.
But every time a storm or an earthquake happens in the US, what does always happen?
The power grid goes down. Cell towers collapse, and no one can log in to the web.
But if you are a prepper, you are probably prepared for this.
You have your own generator. And your own Wifi. You’re sitting pretty, right?
Well, not exactly.
A working Wi-Fi signal in a digitally dead area is like lighting a beacon in the dark.
It signals to anyone with a device searching for a network that there’s someone nearby with resources.
Resources that some people will be willing to do whatever it takes to take from you.
Even by force.
So what can we do about this? Should we throw our routers out the window during power outages?
This is what I have been looking into for the past couple of days.
Apparently, you can reduce the range of your wifi router by adjusting the power settings.
Most Wi-Fi routers have settings to control the transmit power.
By reducing the power output, you can also reduce the range of your Wi-Fi signal.
The specific steps for adjusting power settings vary depending on the router model, so consult your router’s documentation or interface for guidance.
But there is also another way that doesn’t require any technological expertise.
And that’s by surrounding your router with dense materials. Like concrete or stones.
To tell you the truth, if we ever have a massive power outage, this is what I am planning on doing.
During emergencies, we have to think outside the box.
Situations that we might not have dealt with before might begin to surface.
If you don’t want your house to become a target, consider one of the two ways to reduce your router’s range.
